We’ve put together answers to some of the most common questions below to help you feel confident and well-prepared every step of the way.

Damaged or Lost Items: Items can become damaged because of poor packing and handling or improper loading techniques that might cause boxes to shift during transit. When items are not properly cushioned, they can break. Boxes could go missing if they are not labeled and organized properly.  

Overcharging: Customers often complain about hidden fees or surcharges, estimate discrepancies or extra labor cost, additional services that weren’t in the original quote, weight overcharges and vaguely itemized costs. 

Late delivery: Delays in delivering belongings can cause an incredible amount of stress for all parties involved, especially when move-in and move-out days are tightly scheduled, and elevator access has been pre-booked.

Poor communication: This could include lack of updates, unclear instructions, inaccessible support, last-minute changes and inconsistent information. 

Unprofessional Behavior: Common complaints include rudeness, carelessness, inappropriate language, tardiness, and the unkempt appearance of moving staff.

Failure to Arrive: When movers fail to arrive as scheduled, it can cause significant disruption for all involved.

Yes, we do! Good tips are to water them a few days prior to the move so they stay hydrated. Put them in sturdy boxes with air holes and secure the plant with tape or string.

You can also pack the top of the plant with moist soil or sphagnum moss to keep the plant stable. Position the plants upright. We can keep them upfront so they can be monitored during the move. 

You bet! Some tips to know: Use sturdy double-corrugated boxes that can handle the weight and individually wrap each bottle. Secure the bottles snugly so they don’t move around during transit. Use extra crumpled newspaper and seal and label the box “Fragile – Alcohol” for proper identification.  

Of course. If items cannot be boxed, we will use heavy mover blankets. For heavy or awkward items, we use straps to secure them. For particularly fragile or valuable items, we may even use custom built crates. 

Because of safety regulations and legal considerations, there are certain items we’re unable to transport. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Hazardous materials such as gasoline, propane tanks, and fireworks.

  • Valuables and personal items like cash, important documents, jewelry, and high-value electronics—these are best kept with you during the move.

  • Weapons, ammunition, and pets, which require separate arrangements due to legal and safety concerns.

If you’re unsure about any specific item, we recommend contacting our office by phone or email in advance to ensure a smooth and efficient move.

Yes, we do! We are well-equipped with the proper hand tools and power tools for efficiency. Usually, members of our crew will take photos to make sure everything is assembled correctly and keep all screws and small parts in labeled bags or containers, wrapping any parts needed to prevent damage. 

We’re happy to help! We use only high-quality materials—sturdy boxes, heavy-duty tape, bubble wrap, and proper packing paper—to ensure everything is well-protected. Our packing crew consists of trained, experienced professionals who know how to handle your belongings with care, so you can rest easy knowing everything is in good hands. Fragile items are individually wrapped and cushioned in boxes to prevent damage. Whether it’s antiques, silverware, glassware, chandeliers, or more, we’ve got it covered. We can also label each box clearly to keep things organized. For delicate furniture, we use moving blankets and shrink wrap for extra protection.

Yes! We can do your move even if it’s only a few pieces of furniture or just a couple of boxes. No job is too small. We offer flexible, personalized service to meet your specific needs.
